DENA TALLEY

Dena V. Talley, 78, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, March 31, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born Dec. 5, 1922, at Cape Girardeau, daughter of Dollar and Josaphine Baker Welker. She and Paul Talley were married Dec. 31, 1948, at Piggott, Ark. He died Aug. 10, 1997.

Survivors include two sons, Steven Talley of Cape Girardeau and Kenneth Talley of Jackson, Mo.; and a grandchild.

She was preceded in death by six brothers and a sister.

A private graveside service was held Saturday at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson. The Rev. Ronnie Brown officiated.

Arrangements were by McCombs Funeral Home of Cape Girardeau.
