SIKESTON, Mo. -- Graveside service for Eddie Wayne "Baby Bull" Childers of Sikeston will be held at 1 p.m. today at Odd Fellows Cemetery near Charleston, Mo. Steve Palmer will officiate.

Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.

Childers, 57, died Tuesday, April 10, 2001, in Batavia, N.Y.

He was born July 14, 1943, in Anniston, Mo., son of Eddie Leon and Joyce V. Collins Childers. He and Sandra Riddle were married Nov. 1, 1991.

Childers owned and operated a truck, and leased with Pacer Truck Lines.

He served three tours of duty in Vietnam with the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Kimberly Hurt and Tara Goad of Sikeston; four brothers, Paul Childers of Sikeston, Michael Childers of Austin, Texas, Jerry Childers of Chaffee, Mo., Timmy Childers of Matthews, Mo.; two sisters, Mary Hamilton of Sikeston, Sue Husk of Jackson, Mo.; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and two sisters.
