BLOOMFIELD, Mo. -- Richard E. "Pat" Patterson, 59, of Bloomfield died Sunday, April 15, 2001, at Dexter Memorial Hospital in Dexter, Mo. He was born Oct. 27, 1941, at Shelbina, Mo., son of Darrell and Margaret Maupin Patterson. He and Beverly Snider were married April 29, 1966...

BLOOMFIELD, Mo. -- Richard E. "Pat" Patterson, 59, of Bloomfield died Sunday, April 15, 2001, at Dexter Memorial Hospital in Dexter, Mo.

He was born Oct. 27, 1941, at Shelbina, Mo., son of Darrell and Margaret Maupin Patterson. He and Beverly Snider were married April 29, 1966.

Patterson had lived in the Bloomfield community since 1970. He owned and operated Patterson Auto Sales until retiring due to ill health.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Melanie Morris of Jackson, Mo.; two stepsons, Terry Woodruff of Aiken, S.C., Lloyd Kerner of Portland, Ore.; his mother of Sikeston, Mo.; a brother, Jack Patterson of Sikeston; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Friends may call at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Lloyd Anderson officiating.
