HATTIE KIRKPATRICK

MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Hattie M. Kirkpatrick, 78, of Marble Hill died Thursday, April 26, 2001, at Eldercare of Marble Hill.

She was born Feb. 3, 1923, at Hurricane, Mo., daughter of Henry Lee and Laura Langston Long. She and Henry E. Kirkpatrick were married May 30, 1938. He died Oct. 11, 1974.

Kirkpatrick was a nurse aide 13 years at Bond Nursing Home in Marble Hill. She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Floyd Kirkpatrick of Fredericktown, Mo., Lloyd Kirkpatrick of Marble Hill; two daughters, Sherry Kinder of Burfordville, Mo., Pearl Presnell of Marble Hill; two sisters, Carrie Kirkpatrick and Mattie Henson of Marble Hill; eight grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, a granddaughter, a brother, and a sister.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Patton, Mo., from 4 to 9 p.m. today.

Funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Donnie Cook and Dudie Long officiating. Burial will be in Pulliam Cemetery near Marble Hill.
