PAULINE MCCAIN

MOREHOUSE, Mo. -- Lidy Pauline McCain, 81, of Morehouse died Friday, May 11, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Dec. 5, 1919, in Prescott, Ark., daughter of Charlie and Lena Jackson Fore. She and Buddy George McCain were married Aug. 10, 1934, in Westridge, Ark.

McCain was a custodian 20 years at Malone and Hyde in Sikeston, Mo. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church at Morehouse and Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Charlie McCain of Morehouse, George McCain of Windfall, Ind., a daughter, Alice Williams of Sikeston; two half brothers, Nowell and Gerald Fore of Hot Springs, Ark.; a half sister, Judy Fore of Hot Springs; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a daughter and a half brother.

Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. John Goss officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston.
