KATHY KINDER

Kathy Kinder, 43, of Cape Girardeau and formerly of Olive Branch, Ill., died suddenly Thursday, May 31, 2001, on arrival at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born Aug. 26, 1957, at Cairo, Ill., daughter of John D. Sissom Jr. and Marcella Pearman Sissom.

She had worked as a certified nurse's assistant at Chateau Girardeau.

Survivors include a daughter, April Kinder of Cape Girardeau; her mother; two brothers, Mickey Sissom of Olive Branch and Johnny Sissom of St. Louis; and five sisters, Joyce Rodgers, Phyllis Rodgers, Shirley Rodgers and Judy Sissom, all of Olive Branch, and Tina Stone of Cape Girardeau.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms, Ill., and after noon Sunday at Alexander Free Will Baptist Church.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the church, with the Rev. Ernest Brown officiating. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery.
