EUGENE SITZES

DIEHLSTADT, Mo. -- Funeral for H. Eugene Sitzes of Diehlstadt will be held at 10 a.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, Mo. The Rev. Bryan Blankenship will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston.

Sitzes, 63, died Wednesday, June 20, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born July 20, 1937, in Sikeston, son of Hubert E. and Rosalene L. Thompson Sitzes.

Survivors include a friend, Louise Adams of the home; two sons, Mike Sitzes of De Kalb, Ill., Kenneth Sitzes of Waterloo, Ill.; three brothers, James Sitzes of Sycamore, Ill., Douglas and Dwayne Sitzes of Sikeston; two sisters, Darlene Best of Rochelle, Ill., and Charlotte Greer of Sikeston.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
