ADVANCE, Mo. -- Oliver Ford, 93, of Advance died Thursday, July 5, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was born Nov. 4, 1907, near Bell City, Mo., son of A.M. and Margaret Jane Stewart Ford. He and Odena Winemiller were married March 26, 1932, at Bloomfield, Mo...

ADVANCE, Mo. -- Oliver Ford, 93, of Advance died Thursday, July 5, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Nov. 4, 1907, near Bell City, Mo., son of A.M. and Margaret Jane Stewart Ford. He and Odena Winemiller were married March 26, 1932, at Bloomfield, Mo.

Ford was a retired farmer, and member of General Baptist Church of Bell City.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Velma Ford of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, George Ford of Rochester Hills, Mich., Paul Ford of Cape Girardeau; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son and three sisters.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mike Triplett officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Advance.
