EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. -- Ralph Randall Weeks, 78, of East Prairie died Saturday, July 14, 2001, at his home.

He was born Feb. 20, 1923, in East Prairie, son of Frederick Lee and Manie Riley Weeks. He and Helen Evans were married April 24, 1973.

Weeks was a retired truck driver, and member of First General Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Fred Weeks of Lakeland, Fla.; a daughter, Judy Heaton of Dudley, Mo.; a stepson, Larry Smith of East Prairie; a brother, Guy Weeks of Dongola, Ill.; a sister, Lawanda Fowler of East Prairie; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a stepson, five brothers, and five sisters.

Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home after 6 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Dale Billingsley will officiate. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery.
