ANNA SERES

Anna Seres, 90, of Cape Girardeau passed away Thursday, July 27, 2001, at the Lutheran Home.

Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. today at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa at Watson in St. Louis (314-832-7770).

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary of Victories, 744 Third Street, followed by interment in Resurrection Cemetery. Father Paul J. Spielman will officiate.

Mrs. Seres was born Jan. 13, 1911, daughter of John and Rose Domotor Lang. She and Gabor Seres were married May 5, 1934. He passed away Oct. 15, 1977.

Loving survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Gilbert and Jean Seres of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Theresa Smarko of St. Louis; three grandchildren, Jennifer Waldo, Janise Demmin and Joanna Seres; and two great-grandchildren, Christina Waldo and Jonathan Waldo.

Anna was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

We thank God for Anna. She was so sweet and generous; a blessing to all her loved ones and a joy to those around her.
