CATHERINE PENROSE

BENTON, Mo. -- Funeral for Catherine Ann Penrose of Benton will be held at 1 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton. The Rev. Randy Conn will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery at Morley, Mo.

Penrose, 59, died Thursday, July 26, 2001, at her home.

She was born Dec. 5, 1941, at Morley, daughter of Lyman W. and Bertha Grace Halter Nations. She and Harry Alvia Penrose were married Aug. 26, 1963. He died July 31, 1987.

Penrose attended Morley Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Vernon Kincade and Michael Penrose of Benton; a daughter, Darla Bohnsack of Advance, Mo.; two stepsons, Steve Penrose of Morley, Stanley Penrose of Hawaii; a stepdaughter, Angela Samples of Fredericktown, Mo.; a friend, James Hopper of Benton; seven grandchildren; and seven stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
