JACKSON, Mo. -- Brandy Kay Jacobs, 20, of Jackson died Tuesday, July 31, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Nov. 6, 1980, in Englewood, Colo., daughter of David and Christine Guenther Trotter. She and Donald E. Jacobs III were married May 20, 2000.

Jacobs had lived in Jackson since 1981. She was a 1999 graduate of Jackson High School, where she participated in band, choir, High Step Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Future Business Leaders of America, and was a member of National Honor Society.

She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and formerly active in Lutheran Youth Ministries.

Jacobs was employed at Blimpies in Jackson and was an Avon representative.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Taylor Jacobs of the home; her mother and stepfather, Christine and Gary L. Petzoldt of Jackson; her father and stepmother, David and Peggy Trotter of Florissant, Mo.; three sisters, Cheryl and Sarah Trotter and Hannah Petzoldt, all of Jackson; paternal grandmother, Patricia Mossman of Littleton, Colo.; and maternal grandparents, Chuck and Gerry Guenther of Jackson.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 6-8 p.m. today, and Friday at St. Paul Lutheran Church after 9:30 a.m.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church. The Rev. David Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
