DEXTER, Mo. -- Funeral for Chloe Lawrence of Dexter will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at Rainey Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Fred Leist will officiate. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery.

Lawrence, 84, died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.

She was born June 13, 1917, at Petersburg, Ind., daughter of Harry and Fannie Robling. She and John H. Lawrence were married Jan. 13, 1933, at Bloomfield, Mo. He died Dec. 1, 1990.

Lawrence was a member of Grayridge General Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Jimmie Lawrence of Dexter; a daughter, June Mathis of Dexter; four grandsons; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
