MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Funeral for Ruby Mae Skaggs of Piedmont, Mo., will be held at 1 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. The Rev. Gene Robbins will officiate. Burial will be in Grassy Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until service time.

Skaggs, 60, died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2001, at Three Rivers Health Care South Campus in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

She was born Oct. 26, 1940, at Hiram, Mo., daughter of Vader and Sally Pigg Blocker. She and Cletis W. Skaggs were married Sept. 8, 1958.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Doyle Skaggs of Piedmont; three daughters, Vickie O'Brien and Barbara Skaggs of Piedmont, Sarha Maldonado of Era, Texas; two stepdaughters, Judy Krueger and Sandra Smith of Warrenton, Mo.; two brothers, Ora Blocker of Lexington, Okla., Dewey Blocker of Erick, Okla.; four sisters, Pearl Fox of Marble Hill, Flora Frymire and Versie Lewis of Bloomfield, Mo., Ruth Williams of Erick; and 17 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three sons, a daughter, a brother, and a granddaughter.
