BLOOMFIELD, Mo. -- Louise Duffey, 78, of Bloomfield died Monday, Aug. 20, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Nov. 17, 1922, at Bloomfield, daughter of John and Mamie Adel Miller Cox. She and Aymond Duffey were married July 5, 1944. He died Nov. 20, 1998.

Duffey lived in the Bloomfield area most of her life. She was a member of Bloomfield Church of Christ.

Survivors include a daughter, Jeannie Armes of Bloomfield; two half brothers, Jack and Hershel Moss of Malden, Mo.; and a granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and a grandson.

Friends may call at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Walker Cemetery.
