SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Funeral for Thomas Joseph Rauk of Kenyon, Minn., was held Saturday at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Kenyon. The Rev. Dennis Kampa officiated. Burial was in Vang Church Cemetery near Dennison, Minn.

Hanson Funeral Home in Kenyon was in charge of arrangements.

Rauk, 20, died Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2001, from injuries received in a motorcycle accident.

He was born July 25, 1981, in Faribault, Minn., son of Rodney and Elaine Hillman Rauk. He was a 2000 graduate of Kenyon/Wanamingo Schools and would have been a sophomore at Southwest State University in Marshall, Minn.

Rauk was a member of St. Michael's Church and taught first grade Sunday School, and was active in 4-H.

Survivors include his father; two sisters, Robyn Rauk of St. Louis, Rhonda Bender of Iowa City, Iowa; three brothers, Randall Rauk of Nerstrand, Minn., Marty and Benjamin Rauk of Kenyon; and maternal grandmother, Rose Hillman of Scott City.

He was preceded in death by his mother, paternal grandparents, and maternal grandfather.
