PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Brenda George, 43, of Calhoun, Mo., died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2001, at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton, Mo.

She was born Sept. 17, 1957, in Perryville, daughter of Fred Conway and Geraldine Bernice Bangert Hughey. She and Bob George were married June 2, 1984, at Calhoun.

Brenda was a teacher at Calhoun Schools 21 years, teaching high school math most of her career. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Calhoun, Missouri State Teachers Association and Community Teachers Association.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Scott and Kevin George of the home; her mother of Perryville; a brother, Larry Hughey of Weatherford, Okla.; two sisters, Gail Ochs of Cape Girardeau, and Sandy Picou of St. Mary's.

She was preceded in death by her father and a sister.

Friends may call at Hadley Funeral Home in Windsor, Mo., from 7-8 p.m. Thursday.

Visitation will be after 9 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Perryville.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, with the Rev. Dennis Cebulak officiating. Burial will be in Home Cemetery.

Young and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
