Tammy D. Phillips, 38, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2000, at her residence.

She was born Dec. 10, 1962, at Cape Girardeau, daughter of Robert R. and Lucille M. Ekquist Phillips. She and Stephen H. Franklin were married Oct. 19, 1989, at St. Louis.

Phillips graduated from Central High School in 1981 and had worked at St. Francis Medical Center as a clerk.

Survivors include her husband; her mother; three sons, Shawn Phillips, Derek Phillips-Franklin and Dustin Phillips-Franklin, all of Cape Girardeau; four daughters, Heather Phillips, Kimberly Phillips, Ashley Phillips-Franklin and Kelsey Phillips-Franklin, all of Cape Girardeau; and two brothers, Roy Phillips of Cape Girardeau and Allen Phillips of St. Louis.

She was preceded in death by her father.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery, with the Rev. Harold Althen officiating.

Arrangements are being handled by Ford & Sons Funeral Home.
