ELAINE BUERCK

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Elaine L. Buerck, 83, of Perryville died Friday, Dec. 29, 2000, at the Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born Jan. 10, 1917, at Perry County, daughter of Emil and Emma Sutterer Huber. She and Kenrick Buerck were married Sept. 23, 1941, at Perryville. He died Sept. 4, 1979.

She was a past member of the Ladies Sodality of Belgique and a current member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Survivors include four sons, David, Melvin, Lynn and Paul Buerck, all of Perryville; two daughters, Irene Sheerin of Shawnee, Kan., and Doreen Davis of Maryland Heights, Mo.; a brother, Lincoln Huber of Perryville; 26 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by five sisters and four brothers.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Monday, and from 6:30-9:50 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

A parish wake service will be at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Kevin Fausz will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.
