ILENE PRATER
Ilene Prater, 94, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2000, at Heartland Care Rehab Center. She was born Aug. 23, 1905, in Oklahoma, daughter of William Earl and Mary Jane Davis Reed. She and Dudley Prater were married Aug. 7, 1925, in Essex. He died Aug. 7, 1979...Ilene Prater, 94, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2000, at Heartland Care Rehab Center.
She was born Aug. 23, 1905, in Oklahoma, daughter of William Earl and Mary Jane Davis Reed. She and Dudley Prater were married Aug. 7, 1925, in Essex. He died Aug. 7, 1979.
Prater was a member of First Baptist Church in Centralia.
Survivors include two daughters, Charlotte Stone and Roselynn Pearson of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Pauline Reed of Centralia; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons and a brother.
Friends may call at Fenton Funeral Home in Centralia from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
