SIKESTON -- Harvey Otis Capps, 90, of Sikeston died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2000, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

He was born Oct. 21, 1909, at Vanduser, son of Roscoe and Victoria Morrison Capps. He and Lillian Hawley were married Dec. 8, 1934, at Essex.

Capps was an automobile mechanic 40 years at SEMO Motor Co., and had owned and operated Capps Garage in Vanduser.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Dale Capps of Sikeston; a daughter, LaVerne Hager of Sikeston; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and a great-grandson.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with Woodrow Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
