DEXTER -- Gladys L. Walton, 80, formerly of Bernie, died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2000, at the Beverly Manor Nursing Center at Westminster, Calif.

She was born Dec. 22, 1919, at Bernie, daughter of Henry and Belle Cloe Boyt.

Walton had worked as a clerical worker for the Douglas Aircraft Co. in Orange County, Calif.

Survivors include a sister, Thelma Skelcher of Metropolis, Ill., and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward.

Friends may call at Rainey Funeral Home in Dexter from 10-11 a.m. Monday.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. Wayne Dismuke will officiate, with burial in Bernie Cemetery.
