Gertrude Elizabeth Shuck, 89, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2000, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born July 5, 1910, at Macon, daughter of Ernst and Martha Louise Roeder Lehr. She and Robert F. Shuck were married March 23, 1935, in St. Louis.
Shuck was a graduate of Gem City Business College in Quincy, Ill. She was a claim representative 50 years with the Social Security Administration in Cape Girardeau. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
She moved to Cape Girardeau in 1947.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Robert Shuck III of St. Petersburg, Fla., Jerry Shuck of Seminole, Fla.; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. Douglas Breite officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
