Wayne Griffin, 55, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born May 1, 1944, in Essex, son of D.L. and Essie Prince Griffin.

Griffin moved to Cape Girardeau in 1987 from California. He had worked at Cape Electrical Supply Inc.

Survivors include a daughter, Tracy Horton of Essex; his parents of Essex; two brothers, Jim Griffin of California, Keith Griffin of Essex; a friend, Donna McCarty of Cape Girardeau; and two grandchildren.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Doyle Corlew officiating. Burial will be in Essex Cemetery.
