MARBLE HILL -- Oleta P. Hueter, 97, of Marble Hill died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Aug. 18, 1902, at Mayfield, daughter of William M. and Monta A. Bollinger Williams. She and Leslie E. Hueter were married Aug. 13, 1922. He died April 16, 1959.

Hueter was a member of Scopus Church of Christ.

Survivors include three sons, Forrest Hueter of Marble Hill, Quinton Hueter of Millersville, Rhuman Hueter of Festus; five daughters, Gladys Garland, Eunice Francis and Beverly Johns of Marble Hill, Phyllis Phillips of Matthews, Jennis Benefield of Thebes, Ill.; 17 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, three brothers, five sisters, and four grandchildren.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Kelly Francis officiating. Burial will be in Pulliam Cemetery near Scopus.
