OAK RIDGE -- Dorothy Marie Crites, 65, of Oak Ridge died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born June 5, 1934, at Friedheim, daughter of Edwin Pearl and Ethel Bernice Myers Kurre. She and Kelly R. Crites were married Sept. 3, 1955, at Old Appleton.

Crites attended Arnsberg Elementary School, and was a graduate of Perryville High School.

She had worked at Associated Natural Gas in Jackson and at Jackson Oil Co.

Crites was a member of New Salem United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband; her father of Cape Girardeau; and a sister, Shirley Buchheit of Friedheim.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Adam Mueller will officiate. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
