PAUL HIINSHAW

PERRYVILLE -- Paul E. Hinshaw, 79, of Perryville died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2000, at Independence Court.

He was born March 9, 1920, in Winchester, Ind., son of Samuel M. and Edna Reece Hinshaw. He and Mary R. Engle were married Oct. 7, 1939. She died July 22, 1998.

Hinshaw was a partner and president of BBL Buildings in Perryville since 1976.

He was a member of Friends Church in Lynn, Ind., lifetime member of Perryville Optimist Club, and member of National Frame Builders Association. He was inducted into the NFBA Hall of Fame in 1995.

Survivors include a son, Max Hinshaw of Olympia, Wash.; a daughter, Shirley Smith of Perryville; a brother, Richard Hinshaw of Winchester; a sister, Mildred Snell of Punta Gorda, Fla.; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by a sister and an infant brother.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today, and Friday from 5-8 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home in Lynn.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Thomas Funeral Home, with the Rev. Bill Medlin officiating. Burial will be in Fountain Park Cemetery in Winchester.
