MARBLE HILL -- Funeral for James Edward Martin of Marble Hill will be held at 11 a.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson. The Rev. Darrel Jauch will officiate. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery at Jackson.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until service time.

Martin, 52, died Thursday, April 6, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Aug. 14, 1947, in Fornfelt, son of Closkie and Josie Jauch Martin.

Martin attended the Church of God in Jackson.

Survivors include a brother, Thomas Martin of Sikeston; three sisters, Joyce Aldrich of O'Fallon, Diane Lough of Scott City, and Juanita Martin of Independence.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
