JEAN EASON

SIKESTON -- Funeral for Jean Anne Eason of Sikeston will be held at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church. The Rev. Jerry Adams will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Ponder Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Eason, 57, died Sunday, April 9, 2000, at her home.

She was born Nov. 11, 1942, at Sikeston, daughter of Homer Lee and Mary Ellen Stallings Jr. She and Benny Eason were married Sept. 28, 1974.

Eason was administrator of Ferguson Medical Group where she had worked 40 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Michael Lee of St. Charles, Andrew Eason of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Kristi Wheetley of Sikeston; her mother, Mary Ellen Rushing of Sikeston; a brother, Lee Stallings III of Houston, Texas; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father.
