MATTHEWS -- D.C. Morris, 80, of Matthews died Tuesday, April 25, 2000, at his home.

He was born March 9, 1920, in Hagerville, Ark., son of Elmer Eugene and Iva Pearl Allison Morris. He and Helen Tryphena Flanagin were married Dec. 27, 1941, in Russellville, Ark.

Morris was a farmer and a member of the congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses in East Prairie.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Donald Morris of Pontiac, Ill., David Morris of Lilbourn; a daughter, Kathy Williams of Bertrand; three sisters, Vera Ragsdale of Matthews, Lora Bizzell of Sikeston, Nova Mays of Parma; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with Matthew Palmer officiating.
