KELSO -- Henry William Reinagel, 80, of Kelso died Tuesday, April 25, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Jan. 30, 1920, at Kelso, son of William Martin and Regina Leible Reinagel. He and Coena Schwartz were married Oct. 12, 1943, in Kelso.

Reinagel was a self-employed farmer. He attended St. Augustine Catholic Church, and was a member of St. Augustine Men's Sodality and Knights of Columbus Council 6420.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Bill Reinagel and David Reinagel of Scott City; two daughters, Linda Brown of Fruitland, Pat Kirn of Kelso; two brothers, James Reinagel and Leroy Reinagel of Kelso; and a sister, Viola Gosche of Kelso.

Also surviving are six grandchildren, Jeff Kirn of Chaffee, Angie Hulshof of Oran, Amy Reinagel McIntosh of Scott City, Jamie Brown and Ronnie Brown of Fruitland, Lance Reinagel of Scott City; six great-grandchildren, Andrew Hulshof, Joshua Hulshof and Olivia Hulshof of Oran; Hunter Kirn and Shiloh Kirn of Chaffee; and Ashlyn McIntosh of Scott City.

He was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Kamie Kirn; his parents; a brother, Linus Reinagel; and a sister, Alvina Gosche.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City after 4 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 6:30, and Knights of Columbus prayers at 6:45.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Augustine Catholic Church. The Rev. Oliver Clavin will officiate. Burial will be in St. Augustine Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Kirn, Lance Reinagel, Jamie Brown, Ronnie Brown, Mike Schwartz and Norman Reinagel.
