PERRYVILLE -- Charles W. Ochs Sr., 62, of Perryville died Sunday, April 30, 2000, at Perry County Memorial Hospital. He was born Jan. 25, 1938, in Perry County, son of Walter H. and Lora B. Ochs. PERRYVILLE -- Charles W. Ochs Sr., 62, of Perryville died Sunday, April 30, 2000, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

He was born Jan. 25, 1938, in Perry County, son of Walter H. and Lora B. Ochs. He and Patsy L. Andrews were married Feb. 22, 1958.

Ochs was the former owner of Perryville Discount Furniture and Ochs Auto Sales.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Michael, Charles and Dennis Ochs, all of Perryville; two daughters, Julie Hurt and Susan Ochs of Perryville; a brother, Kenneth Ochs of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Marie Skorz of the state of Washington; 13 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 6-9 p.m. today, and Wednesday after 6:30 a.m.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jonathon Brown officiating. Burial will be in Crossroads Methodist Cemetery.
