SIKESTON -- Gwendolyn Pauline Jones, 87, of Sikeston died Friday, June 2, 2000, at her home. She was born July 4, 1912, in Scott County, daughter of Charles and Lina Gregory Pierce. She married J.W. "Buddy" Jones, who died April 3, 1982. Jones worked many years at International Shoe Co. and was a lifetime member of First Nazarene Church...
SIKESTON -- Gwendolyn Pauline Jones, 87, of Sikeston died Friday, June 2, 2000, at her home.
She was born July 4, 1912, in Scott County, daughter of Charles and Lina Gregory Pierce. She married J.W. "Buddy" Jones, who died April 3, 1982.
Jones worked many years at International Shoe Co. and was a lifetime member of First Nazarene Church.

Survivors include three grandchildren, James Jones and Theresa Allmond of Macon, Ga., Allison Jones of Atlanta, Ga.; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons and two sisters.
Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
