ORAN, Mo. -- James Robert Glastetter, 65, of Oran died Monday, July 10, 2000, at Sikeston Convalescent Center in Sikeston, Mo. He was born Nov. 22, 1934, at Oran, son of Frank Joseph and Clara Catherine Amrhein Glastetter. Glastetter had worked at VIP Industries in Sikeston. ORAN, Mo. -- James Robert Glastetter, 65, of Oran died Monday, July 10, 2000, at Sikeston Convalescent Center in Sikeston, Mo.

He was born Nov. 22, 1934, at Oran, son of Frank Joseph and Clara Catherine Amrhein Glastetter.

Glastetter had worked at VIP Industries in Sikeston. He was a member of Guardian Angel Catholic Church.

Survivors include three brothers, Lester and Ernest Glastetter of Oran, Gilbert Glastetter of Lake Charles, La.; four sisters, Evelyn Hooker of Pharr, Texas, Maxine Whelan of Hazelwood, Mo., Margie Schmitt of St. Louis, and Virginia Uptain of Weatherford, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and a sister.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. today at Guardian Angel Church, with the Rev. Normand Varone officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
