ORAN, Mo. -- William Phillips II, 48, of Oran died Monday, July 10, 2000, at his home.

He was born June 8, 1952, in Cape Girardeau, son of William Perry and Imogene Stacey Phillips Sr.

Phillips retired as a printer at the Chaffee Signal Newspaper. He served in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include a son, Zachary Phillips of Oran; two daughters, Carrie Phillips of Scott City, Mo., Jessica Phillips of Oran; his parents of Oran; a grandchild; five half sisters, Liz Hubbs of Sparta, Ill., Betty Mirly, Mary Lizenbee and Sue Sallee, all of Chaffee, Mo., Judy Horton of Glen Carbon, Ill.; and a half brother, Bob Burnett of Belleville, Mich.

Service was held at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran on Wednesday. Burial was in Friend Cemetery.
