FLORA WINSCHEL

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Flora I. Winschel, 89, of Perryville died Thursday, July 13, 2000, at the Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born Dec. 15, 1910, in Perry County, the daughter of Louis H. and Anna Meyer. She married Louis A. Winschel on Sept. 5, 1938. He died Feb. 21, 1985.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church at Apple Creek, Mo. She and her husband farmed. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, Glennon Winschel and Martin Winschel, both of Perryville; two daughters, Lou Ann Walters of St. Louis and Carolyn Winschel of Jackson, Mo.; 17 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by her parents, a son, two sisters and three brothers.

Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. today at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. A parish wake service will be held at 7 p.m. today.

Visitation also will be held from 6:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday. The rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.

A funeral Mass will be said at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Apple Creek, with the Rev. Mark Bozada officiating.

Burial will be at St. Joseph Church Cemetery.
