EUGENIA WISE

CAIRO, Ill. -- Graveside service for Eugenia May Wise of Bardwell, Ky., will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge, Ill. The Rev. Kelly Cox will officiate.

There is no visitation.

Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo is in charge of arrangements.

Wise, 79, died Sunday, Aug. 6, 2000, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Ky.

She was born Sept. 9, 1920, at Mill Creek, Ill., daughter of Eugene and May Woodney Goodman. She married Robert B. Wise, who died in 1997.

Formerly of Cairo and Mounds, Ill., she was a member of First United Methodist Church in Cairo.

Survivors include a daughter, Marilyn Webb of Bardwell; two sons, David Wise of Incline Village, Nev., Robert Wise of Marion, Ill.; a sister, Lorene Darrow of Litchfield, Ill.; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
