THEBES, Ill. -- Billy Wayne Lesar Sr., 38, of Thebes died Monday, Oct. 2, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. He was born Jan. 10, 1962, in Cape Girardeau. Survivors include his father of Thebes; three sons, Billy Lesar Jr. of Jackson, Mo., John M. and Joseph Lesar of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, John A. Lesar of Granite City, Ill., Brian Lesar of Thebes; two sisters, Sheila Dodson of Thebes and Trina Jones of Olive Branch, Ill...

THEBES, Ill. -- Billy Wayne Lesar Sr., 38, of Thebes died Monday, Oct. 2, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Jan. 10, 1962, in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include his father of Thebes; three sons, Billy Lesar Jr. of Jackson, Mo., John M. and Joseph Lesar of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, John A. Lesar of Granite City, Ill., Brian Lesar of Thebes; two sisters, Sheila Dodson of Thebes and Trina Jones of Olive Branch, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his mother and a brother.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Bill Kitchen officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Thebes.
