MILDRED LAZENBY

ANNA, Ill. -- Mildred L. Lazenby, 71, of Anna died Friday, Nov. 3, 2000, at her home.

She was born April 8, 1929, in Alto Pass, Ill., daughter of Willie and Ida Marie Richards Hurley. She and Lester S. Lazenby were married Aug. 25, 1945, in Anna. He died Dec. 21, 1968.

Mrs. Lazenby was a retired mental health technician at the Choate Center in Anna. She was a member of the Landmark Pentecostal Church in Anna.

Survivors include three daughters, Tina Bryant and Pam Bracken, both of Anna, and Mary Dew of Belleville, Ill.; two sons, Leroy Lazenby of Rochelle, Ill., and Lester Lazenby Jr. of Houston; two sisters, Fern Wilkerson of Richwoods, Mo., and Wanda Gunno of Florida; one brother, George Hurley of Anna; and seven grandchildren.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. Charles E. Carr and the Rev. Charles Mitchell will officiate, with burial in Anna Cemetery.
