COBDEN, Ill. -- Pauline Elizabeth Lamer, 89, of Cobden died Thursday, Nov. 16, 2000, at City Care Center. She was born Dec. 1, 1910, in Cobden, daughter of Den and Ethel Reese Wallace. She and Charles Van Lamer were married Aug. 29, 1929, in Carterville, Ill. He died Dec. 2, 1963...

COBDEN, Ill. -- Pauline Elizabeth Lamer, 89, of Cobden died Thursday, Nov. 16, 2000, at City Care Center.

She was born Dec. 1, 1910, in Cobden, daughter of Den and Ethel Reese Wallace. She and Charles Van Lamer were married Aug. 29, 1929, in Carterville, Ill. He died Dec. 2, 1963.

Lamer had operated a farm and orchard. She was a member of the Congregational Church.

Survivors include two sons, Charles and Roy Lamer of Cobden; and a granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden from 6-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Clifford Heil officiating. Burial will be in Cobden Cemetery.
