JACKSON, Mo. -- Marvin Duette Bollinger, 91, of Jackson died Thursday, Nov. 16, 2000, at Jackson Manor. He was born Aug. 4, 1909, in Bollinger County, Mo., son of Jessie Albert and Orlene Luevena Bollinger. He and Eula Hahn were married Aug. 27, 1932. She died April 22, 1998...

JACKSON, Mo. -- Marvin Duette Bollinger, 91, of Jackson died Thursday, Nov. 16, 2000, at Jackson Manor.

He was born Aug. 4, 1909, in Bollinger County, Mo., son of Jessie Albert and Orlene Luevena Bollinger. He and Eula Hahn were married Aug. 27, 1932. She died April 22, 1998.

Bollinger was employed by city of Jackson 61 years, retiring in 1987 as supervisor of the water and sewer department.

He was a member of Emanuel United Church of Christ, Excelsior Lodge 441, and Eastern Star Chapter 91.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Sam Roethemeyer officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
