KARNAK, Ill. -- Funeral for Margaret Kean of Karnak will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak. The Rev. Ken Sharp will officiate, with burial in Masonic Cemetery at Belknap.

Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 10 a.m. until service time.

Kean, 83, died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1999, at Southgate Care Center in Metropolis.

She was born Jan. 31, 1915, in Brookport, daughter of Harry and Mattie Holmes Rankin.

Kean was a member of Brookport Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, John; a daughter, Kathy Dixon of Deland; two granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter and a brother.
