RICHARD CRABTREE

ADVANCE -- Richard P. Crabtree, 63, of Advance died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1999, at Dexter Memorial Hospital in Dexter.

He was born July 19, 1935, in New Orleans, La., son of Leonard and Geneva Morris Crabtree. He and Agnes Vaughn were married June 4, 1956, in Greenville, Miss.

Crabtree was an Assembly of God minister 39 years, and night manager at Town and Country Supermarket in Advance five years. He served four years in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Pat Hente of Dexter, Pamela Jones of Malden; a brother, John Crabtree Sr. of Pleasant Plains, Ark.; a sister, Dorothy Nuckles of Bee Branch, Ark.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, three brothers, and a sister.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 5:30-8 p.m. Friday.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Dale Shup and the Rev. J.D. Smith officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.
