ESTHER GLAUB

PERRYVILLE -- Esther M. Glaub, 87, of Perryville died Sunday, Jan. 24, 1999, at the Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville.

She was born March 29, 1911, in Perry County, daughter of Mortz and Mary Heiburger Ruch. She first married Gora Milfelt, who preceded her in death. She and John G. Glaub were married on Jan. 23, 1942. He died Aug. 16, 1973.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville.

Survivors include three sons, John Glaub Jr. of Bloomington, Ill., Robert Glaub of Oxford, Miss., and Lawrence Milfelt of Apache Junction, Ariz.; two daughters, Ruby Brown and Mary Lou Favier, both of Perryville; a brother, Bernard Ruch of Perryville; 17 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by three sons, two brothers, a sister and two great-grandsons.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Chapel from 6 to 9 p.m. today and from 6:30 to 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Parish wake service will be at 6:30 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Richard Lause will officiate, with burial in Mount Hope Cemetery.
