COBDEN, Ill. -- Charles R. Morgan, 81, of Hammond, La., died Saturday, Feb. 13, 1999, at his home.
He was born Nov. 12, 1917, in Cobden, son of John P. and Frances Grammer Morgan.
Morgan was a retired produce broker and truck driver. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Survivors include two sons, Charlie Morgan of Texas, Martin Morgan of Ponchatoula, La.; a brother, Daniel Morgan of Grand Tower; and a grandson.
He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Friends may call at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home in Jonesboro after 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
