ADVANCE -- Funeral for Ruth Berry of Union City, Okla., will be held at 10 a.m. today at Huber-Benson Funeral Home in El Reno, Okla.

A service will also be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Morgan Funeral Home, with the Rev. Brad Moore officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. Monday.

Berry, 66, died Wednesday, March 17, 1999, at Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Okla.

She was born June 3, 1932, at Malden, daughter of the Rev. Lonnie and Lillie Creach Wells. She and Eugene "Short" Berry were married Aug. 16, 1946, at Bloomfield.

Berry formerly owned and operated a restaurant in Advance, had been an EMT with Stoddard County Ambulance Service, and was a clerk 13 years at Wal-Mart in Mustang, Okla. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Advance.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Don Berry of Springfield, Bradley Berry of Batesville, Ark.; a daughter, Tammy Bollinger of El Reno; two brothers, Delbert Wells of Wichita, Kan., Junior Wells of Van Buren; four sisters, Charlene Swinger of Wichita, Naomi Jennings of Hartshorne, Okla., Verda Bell of Van Buren, Helen Hastings of Puxico; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two infant brothers, and a sister.
