Hazel Emma Dunn, 86, of Jackson, died Friday, April 2, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born July 6, 1912, at Egypt Mills, daughter of William E. and Emma R. Lange Rehkopf.

She married Pierce Lee Dunn in Cape Girardeau on June 29, 1935. He died Dec. 10, 1978.

She and her husband owned and operated of the former Egypt Mills Store, and the Neely's Landing Store.

She was a member of Egypt Mills Trinity Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid of the church. She was a former president of the Ladies Aid. She was also a member of the Live and Learn Extension Club.

Survivors include two sons, Jerry L. Dunn of Fruitland and Jim F. Dunn of Jackson; a sister, Marie Koeppel of Jackson; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and sister.

Friends may call Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel from 4 to 8 p.m., and Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friends may call Tuesday from noon until service time at Egypt Mills Trinity Lutheran Church.

Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the church, with the Rev. Mark Martin officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
