ADVANCE -- Pyrtle W. Seabaugh, 90, of Advance died Friday, April 2, 1999, at his home.
He was born April 28, 1908, at Sedgewickville, son of William F. and Hannah Friese Seabaugh.
He was a schoolteacher 15 years, a farmer and rural mail carrier for more than 30 years.
He married Ruth Masters on Oct. 7, 1933, at Jackson.
Survivors includes his wife; four sons, Pyrtle Seabaugh Jr. of Cave Creek, Ariz., George Seabaugh of Advance, Douglas Seabaugh of Mursfreesboro, Tenn., Harold Seabaugh of Cape Girardeau; five daughters, Mary Francis of West Palm Beach, Fla., Delores Krauss of Cape Girardeau, Marlene Schott of Brighton, Kay Thiele of St. Louis and Ann Jahnssen of Baldwin; a sister, Imogene Seabaugh of Jackson; 26 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Service will be held at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance Monday at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Paul Dean Robins officiating. Interment will be in Morgan Memorial Park at Advance.
Friends may call today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
