CAIRO, Ill. -- Edna Ernesteen Ford, 79, of Cairo died Saturday, April 3, 1999, at Daystar Care Center in Cairo. She was born Feb. 3, 1920, in Smithland, Ky., daughter of Zenus and Lula Fires Miller. CAIRO, Ill. -- Edna Ernesteen Ford, 79, of Cairo died Saturday, April 3, 1999, at Daystar Care Center in Cairo.

She was born Feb. 3, 1920, in Smithland, Ky., daughter of Zenus and Lula Fires Miller.

She was a member of the Pentecostal Church.

She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews and friend and minister Gail Fuhr of Tamms.

Her husband, Robert Ford, died in 1988.

Service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo, with the Rev. Gail Fuhr officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery in Wickliffe, Ky.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 8 to 10 a.m. Monday.
