BERNIE -- Christine Johnson, 45, of Parma died Friday, April 2, 1999, at the Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff.

She was born March 16, 1954, at Earle, Ark., daughter of Henry Johnson and Mae Lee Patton Johnson.

She was a homemaker and was of Baptist faith.

She is survived by her parents, of Parma; two sons, Charles Allen Johnson of Norfolk, Va., and Leon Johnson, Elgin, Ill.; six brothers, Willie B. Patton, Robert Johnson, Johnny Johnson, John Henry Johnson, all of Elgin, Charles Johnson and Leon Johnson, both of Parma; and a special friend, John Seals of Malden.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Service will be held at Rainey Funeral Home in Bernie Tuesday at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Eliza Pullum officiating. Burial will be in Simmons Cemetery at Catron.

Friends may call at he funeral home Monday from 6 to 7 p.m.
